Oggi volevo parlarvi di un un bellissimo evento al quale ho partecipato sabato 28 Gennaio: lo stilista libanese Jack Guisso, molto amato dalle star hollywoodiane, è tornato a Roma dopo aver vestito Jane Fonda in pizzo nero e Paris Hilton in oro per i Golden Globe....
Today I wanted to talk you about a beautiful event that I attended on Saturday, January 28: lebanese designer Jack Guisso, much loved by Hollywood stars, has returned to Rome after have dressed Jane Fonda in black lace and Paris Hilton in gold for the Golden Globe....

...e l'ho ritrovato nella meravigliosa Sala Balgivi del Complesso di Santo Spirito in Sassia con la sua collezione da red carpet p/e 2012 in occasione di AltaRoma AltaModa. In questa collezione "Rainbow" c'è una ricchezza di colori freschi e raffinati che fanno sognare, tra i quali l'oro (molto di tendenza per questo nuovo anno, come avrete potuto leggere nel mio ultimo post) , il rosa e il turchese che sono i tre predominanti; si tratta di abiti eleganti e sexy allo stesso tempo fatti di materiali leggeri (ultizzatissimo il tulle), ricami geometrici che creano un effetto "vedo non vedo", che valorizzano estremamente il corpo femminile con la loro silhouette di sirena e con una cascata di vere pietre preziose.... Una vera e propria geometria di lusso, vedere per credere!
...and I found him the wonderful Sala Balgivi of Santo Spirito in Sassia Complex with his red-carpet collection S/S 2012 on the occasion of AltaRoma AltaModa. In this collection, "Rainbow" there is a wealth of fresh and refined colors that make you dream, including gold (very trendy for this new year, as you may have read in my last post), pink and turquoise which are the three predominant; they are elegant and sexy dresses at the same time, made of light materials (especially tulle), geometric embroidery that create a "peek-a-boo'' effect, who highly valorize the female body with their siren silhouette and a cascade of real precious stones....A real luxury geometry, seeing is believing!
Sono rimasta letteralmente catturata da questi abiti sontuosi e fiabeschi, tanto da impazzire dalla voglia di indossarli mentre li vedevo sfilare!!! E se già loro avevano riscontrato molto i miei gusti soprattutto per il loro luccichio, è stato alla fine che sono rimasta a bocca aperta...
I was literally captured by these sumptuous and fabulous dresses, so much that i madly desired to wear them while I watched them on the catwalk!!! And if they had already found a lot of my tastes especially for their sparkle, at the end i was open-mouthed ...
...a chiudere la sfilata c'era questo fantastico abito da sposa con il taglio a sirena, arricchito da ricami preziosi e un lunghissimo velo con cristalli incastonati...solo a guardarlo fa venire voglia di sposarsi perfino alle meno romantiche! :-)
... to close the fashion show there was this great wedding dress with a mermaid cut, enriched by precious embroideries and a long veil with crystals set ...only watching it makes you want to get married, even for the less romantic girls! :-)
